Exercise: Live tweeting a press conference

1. Set up a twitter account for yourself

2. Ask students to set up a twitter account for class and follow your account.

3. Find an archived press conference online. The University of Tennessee archives its football and men’s and women’s basketball press conferences. Click on any of the following and find the related video (or choose one of your liking anywhere else)

4. Play the press conference in class and ask students to live-tweet the event. Put the press conference on half of the screen and your twitter page on the other half. Intermittently refresh your twitter page so you can all see the posts in real-time.
