shaping the future of journalism education
Welcome. Today is
The Interscholastic Online News Network (ISONN)

The Interscholastic Online New Network (ISONN) is an association of high school news web sites, educators, administrators, professionals and others who are interested in improving scholastic journalism and the future of journalism education.

ISONN is part of the Intercollegiate Online News Network.

The purpose of ISONN to have an organization of people and entities that are committed to preparing students for work in journalism in the 21st century. As an association, we freely share originally produced content among the member web sites. We also share ideas, development and support for learning and practicing the highest standards of journalism in the new media environment.

Joining ISONN is easy:

1) There is no cost involved at all.

2) You must share a commitment to the goals of ISONN.

3) If you represent a web site, you should agree to share originally produced content with other members. You must also agree that any content used from other members on your web site must be properly credited to the originator.

To join the network, write to Prof. Jim Stovall, School of Journalism and Electronic Media, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN 37996. His email address is jgstovall at gmail.com.
