Test 1

The first test of the lecture section for JEM 200 will take place during Week 8 of the semester.

The test will be a 50-question, multiple-choice test that will cover all of the lecture material and readings that have been assigned to that point in the course. The test will cover all of the chapters assigned in Writing for the Mass Media. In addition, anything in the lecture notes and anything said during the lecture sessions may be included on the test.

The test will count for 10 percent of the final grade in JEM 200.

The test will cover all of the material presented in the lectures, the lecture notes and the following chapters in Writing for the Mass Media: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 12. You are in good shape with all of this if you have attended all of the lectures, paid attention, read the chapters and carefully read the lecture notes.

If you have any questions about this test, feel free to ask during any lecture session.

There will be no news quiz questions on the test.
